How do I best take care of my flowers?

Use a clean, sharp knife to cut the stems at an angle and remove all leaves that would come in contact with the water.
Use a clean vase and refresh water every four days or so.
Don't place your flowers in direct sunlight, in a draft or near ripening fruits.
